Well done, Osama!
Big congratulations to Osama Khoury on delivering an excellent final PhD presentation!
Osama’s research, co-adviced by Prof. Sabrina Spatari and myself, stands out for its integration of rigorous experimental work with advanced Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Techno-Economic Analysis (TEA) frameworks. His novel approach focuses on phosphorus recovery from sewage sludge using the hydrothermal platform—an impactful contribution to both sustainable resource recovery and the circular bioeconomy.
This achievement reflects not only strong scientific skills but also the ability to bridge engineering innovation with environmental and economic performance.
