On Wednesday, March 18, 2026, the Technion will host a study day dedicated to solid waste management, exploring the full spectrum from landfilling to energy recovery, research, innovation, and real-world implementation.
The event will include a poster competition for graduate students and PhD candidates, aimed at fostering the next generation of researchers and professionals working at the intersection of science, engineering, and sustainability.
🏆 Cash prizes will be awarded for outstanding research presentations.
📅 Abstract submission deadline: February 15, 2026
📍 Location: Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering Lobby, Technion, Haifa
Graduate students and postdoctoral researchers whose work relates to the various aspects of solid waste management, across the broad spectrum from landfilling to energy recovery, are invited to submit abstracts and present their research.
