We were happy to be part of a special symposium held in Neve Ya’ar Research Center on “Chromatography and Sensory-Based Approaches in Agriculture, Food, and Environmental Research.” In his talk, Roy demonstrated the use of chromatographic tools to characterize the decomposition mechanisms of lignocellulose waste.

We are happy to be a part of the NPP-SOL project as the Isaeli partners and case study. The NPP-SOL project, funded by PRIMA Programme, aims at preventing surface and ground-water bodies from agricultural nonpoint source pollution under Mediterranean conditions using modelling and technological tools. Mixed polymer plastics cannot undergo mechanical recycling, resulting in heterogeneous low-quality recycled products. This work indicates that the hydrothermal platform can valorize landfill-designated mixed polymer plastics and should be considered as a beneficial alternative for a circular plastic economy.
